{"id":239,"date":"2019-04-29T13:17:13","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T13:17:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foxhall-group.dannypignew.uk\/foxhall-environmental\/?p=239"},"modified":"2019-10-17T08:31:54","modified_gmt":"2019-10-17T08:31:54","slug":"southern-project-starts-in-southend-high-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foxhall-group.lgj-dev.com\/foxhall\/2019\/04\/29\/southern-project-starts-in-southend-high-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Southern project starts in Southend High Street"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Foxhall Environmental Services is working on our first project in the South of England since announcing our plans to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxhall-ltd.co.uk\/index.php\/news\/20-jeff-letch-joins-team-to-grow-nationwide-service\">develop a nationwide service<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The six-month project sees us manage the asbestos waste being removed from the former British Home Stores site on the High Street in the resort town of Southend-on-Sea in Essex.&nbsp; The BHS store closed in 2016 and has since remained empty.&nbsp; Construction work began on the building in February and is expected to be completed by mid 2020.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are working with asbestos removal company, LAR Limited, with whom we have a long-standing relationship.&nbsp; Stockport based&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.larltd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LAR Limited<\/a>&nbsp;was founded over 20 years ago and has extensive experience in asbestos removal projects across the UK, Europe and Africa.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foxhall Environmental Services is project managing the asbestos waste coming out of the construction site.&nbsp; The retail store is situated on a very busy, pedestrian only, part of Southend High Street.&nbsp; We are working in an area with very limited access, both in physical terms and with tight time constraints.&nbsp; Asbestos waste can only be removed between 6am and 9am each day.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff Letch, Southern Operations Director, Foxhall Environmental Services says: \u201cWe are very happy to be working with LAR Limited on this complex project and to be delivering the high level of service they have come to expect from Foxhall.&nbsp; This challenging work not only involves providing a full asbestos waste management service but also traffic management in an area with severely restricted access\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se\u00e1n Doyle, Senior Operations Manager, LAR Limited says: \u201cThis is a large complex project in Essex, with lots of different challenges by way of restricted access, various planning permissions and noise and environmental conditions. We did not have a lot of contacts with regards to waste management in the South East of England and in particular a company who we trust and understand our very high standards and demanding requirements.
